James
Potter, M.D. is
certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck
Surgery, and has been in private practice since 1986. He earned
a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University
before attending medical school at Wayne State University. Dr.
Potter completed his internship and residency at the Wayne State
University affiliated hospitals (in the Detroit Medical Center).
Dr. Potter has privileges at
Hackley Hospital, Mercy General Health Partners, Select
Specialty Hospital and Life Care. His training in
otolaryngology qualifies Dr. Potter to provide a wide variety of
diagnostic investigations, medical therapies, and surgical
procedures related to disorders of the head and neck. Areas of
special interest to Dr. Potter include dizziness, sinus
diseases, and ENT disorders of childhood.
On a personal note, Dr. Potter is
married with four children. He enjoys a number of outdoor
activities and also finds enjoyment in studying the natural
sciences.
Kimberly
Keessen, Au.D is
certified in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology. She
attended Western Michigan University to earn her Bachelor of
Arts degree with honors in communicative disorders. She earned
her Master of Arts degree in Audiology from Michigan State
University and her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the
Arizona School of Health Sciences. She is a member of the
American Academy of Audiology and Michigan Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Keessen evaluates and treats
hearing loss with a thoughtful and considerate approach.
She offers a full line of hearing aids and is dedicated to
improving her patients' quality of life through better hearing.
Dr. Keessen also works in cooperation with physicians to
evaluate balance disorders.
Dr. Keessen is married with two
children. She enjoys running, weight-training and spending
time with her family.
Dan
A. Fox, M.D.
attended the University of Michigan under-grad school from 1959
to 1962 and continued to medical school at the University of
Michigan graduating in 1966. He had a mixed medical internship
at the University of Wisconsin/Madison from 1966 through 1967 .
Dr. Fox was also in the United States Air Force from 1967 to
1969. He worked emergency rooms at Muskegon Mercy Hospital and
Muskegon Hackley Hospital in 1970. His ENT residency was at the
University of Wisconsin/Madison from 1970 to 1974.
Currently, Dr. Fox resides in
Spring Lake, Michigan with his wife Mary. He has two grown
children David and Steven. On 2/2005, his first grandchild,
Noah, was born.
Cara
Rasmussen, M.A., CCC-A
has been certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing
Association (ASHA) since 1998. She attended Western Michigan
University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in
Speech Pathology and Audiology (1996) and her Master of Arts
degree in Audiology (1998). Both degrees were achieved with high
honors. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Audiology
degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, AZ.
Cara maintains
a high level of personal and professional integrity with strong
ethical standards both in and outside of the office. She is
highly qualified in Diagnostic and Rehabilitative Audiology and
in Assistive Listening Device (ALD) and Hearing Aid Sciences. In
addition to ASHA, Cara is a member of the American Academy of
Audiology, the American Tinnitus Association, and Self-Help for
the Hard of Hearing advocacy and support group.
Cara currently resides in Holland,
MI with her husband and two children.
